Psychotherapist

(she/her)

Abby views her role as therapist as a witness and fellow sojourner in the lives of her clients. Together, you will work to make meaning of past experiences, grow in self-compassion, and try-on new ways of being to cultivate joy and acceptance on your journey.

Curious and playful by nature, Abby’s therapeutic style is warm and creative. Informed by psychodynamics, and attachment theory, and a deep understanding of family systems and child development, Abby provides somatic and trauma-informed practices within a social justice framework.

Abby received a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington. Abby also serves as the Director of Programs at Skookum Kids in Bellingham, WA where she works with children and families navigating the child welfare system.

Abby specializes in working with children, teens, and families.
