Psychotherapist

(she/they)

I consider mental health and wellbeing to be deeply connected to the identities that we hold and how they intersect with the environments that we navigate. Counseling can help us increase our understanding of ourselves, create opportunities for safety and joy, and experience more fulfilling lives and relationships as we reconnect to our inherent wisdom.

I specialize in working with adult clients who identify as queer and/or neurodivergent, especially those who don't feel like they fit neatly into these communities (not feeling "queer enough", late diagnosed femme ADHDers, etc). I bring authenticity and a down to earth approach, one in which we are working hard on your goals, while also taking time to be human together. My goal is to create a safe place for clients to show up as they are, to explore and challenge themselves, to reconnect with nature, and express and process whatever comes up along the way. We'll focus on the strengths you bring and work together to set the pace of therapy.

I practice through a shame-free, strengths-based, and trauma-informed lens. My approach is rooted in a feminist and person centered foundation and integrates mindfulness, IFS (parts work), and ecotherapy. In addition to telehealth, I offer outdoor sessions for clients interested in strengthening their connection with the natural world.

My clinical experience includes college counseling centers, group practice settings, and community organizations running groups for new parents and neurodivergent youth. I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and a Certificate in Eco Therapies from Lewis and Clark College. I have additional training in neurodivergent affirming therapy and Internal Family Systems therapy (level 1 IFS training to be completed in March 2024).
