Psychotherapist

My biggest passion is to help clients unfurl into their most authentic, powerful, connected selves. I go beyond surface-level solutions to explore your unique complexities and the stories that shape you. My goal is to help clients create a life that resonates with their deepest values and fosters meaningful relationships.

My work is primarily psychodynamic, which means I help you explore the thoughts and feelings that are under the surface. I believe that is where deeper and lasting change will happen. I draw from the following theories and methodologies: Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, Narrative Trauma Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work with couples is influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems theory, and John and Julie Gottman’s research. I approach my work from an intersectional feminist lens and strive to be anti-oppressive.

I’ve always had a passion to understand people and relationships--I took my first psychology class in highschool. I have a BA in Psychology and International Studies from Texas A&M and a MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. My vocational path has taken me through community outreach, anti-trafficking outreach and education, child development, and program management at a technology company.

I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities around race, culture, immigration status, religion, sexuality, body size, and ages. I work with teens and adults ages 16 and up, and couples.

Outside of the therapy room, I try to spend as much time in nature as I can whether it is a barefoot walk along the beach or a hike in the cascades. I love any full-bodied movement like dance, climbing, and yoga.
