Linda Brethorst, MA, LMHCA
Psychotherapist
(she/her)
I am a compassionate, non-judgmental, empathetic, authentic, intuitive, and approachable therapist and use a client-centered and strengths-based approach to help explore what is holding you back from being the most authentic version of yourself and living a life based on your deepest values. I create a safe space to explore your inner world and make connections to past experiences and how they inform the present. I think of myself as a guide on your path to accessing deeper insights into yourself. The therapeutic approaches that inform my practice include psychodynamic, CBT, Hakomi, Humanistic/Rogerian/Person-Centered Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University, a program grounded in whole person health and healing.
I work with individuals who are navigating a variety of life transitions and especially those who have lost themselves trying to fit in or please others. In addition, I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and loss.
