Bethanne loves the mountains. She loves exploring, playing and finding inspiration often in the Cascades surrounding Seattle. Inspired daily by the resiliency of her clients, she seeks to provide a space for true joy and authentic tears to be held in safety and honor.
Bethanne holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. Through her work at Queen Anne’s Seattle Therapy Alliance, Bethanne gained insight and experience in the wide-ranging challenges women encounter on a daily basis.
At the Shelterwood Collective, Bethanne specializes in working with women and men who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, identity development, grief work, sexuality, relationship/family issues, sexual abuse, PTSD, body image, eating disorders and spiritual identity issues.
She has advanced training in couple’s counseling through Emotionally Focused Therapy and in the Gottman method as well as advanced training in the impact and healing of trauma. She is deeply committed to journeying alongside her clients with compassion, curiosity and authenticity.

Fees
Individual sessions are offered weekly and the rate is $145 per 50-minute session.
Couple’s therapy sessions are $165 for a 60-minute session and $185 for a 90-minute session.
Bethanne believes therapy should be available to all and offers a sliding scale for those facing financial challenges. She will gladly discuss this during your initial consultation session.
Bethanne offers a free 20-minute consultation to provide space to meet her and see if her approach is a good fit for your personal journey.
