Trauma-Informed Therapist & EMDR Specialist

Kim works with clients of all ages using holistic, short- and long-term, evidence-based therapies. Her therapeutic work is deeply rooted in socio-cultural perspectives that seek to honor your identity and story within the context of self, relationships, and community. Kim brings a down-to-earth, trauma-informed approach to her work and provides care and support that prioritizes the complexity, range, and depth of experience throughout the lifespan; the reality of disruptions; and the impact of these experiences on your ability to thrive.

Kim’s approach provides space to make connections between your past, present, and future and to use this awareness for increased empowerment and vitality. Her hope is to offer hospitality and attuned support—a relationship for nurturing creative participation and the freedom to struggle, grieve, and grow towards the recovery of dreams.

At the Shelterwood Collective, Kim enjoys working with clients ranging from adolescence to adulthood.
