Psychotherapist

(she/her)

My goal as a therapist is to help you deepen your understanding of yourself and help you create change in your life. My focus is primarily on the deeper work of developing awareness, identity and meaning. I view my role as a therapist, as a supportive guide that can help you identify patterns and reasons why you have developed the way that you have.  I have worked with adults and children in a variety of contexts including: developing awareness, processing trauma, relational issues, identity development, faith deconstruction and support for caregivers.

I approach therapy through an interpersonal psychodynamic and systemic lens; meaning that every person has a broader context that they come from and that it has shaped them into the person that they are today. This affects relationships, identity and how integrated we are as people. This also means that I operate from a feminist and social justice framework and work towards educating myself on these issues. I am also informed by narrative therapy, psychoanalytic and Jungian theories and view our works as a collaborative endeavor.

I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I currently have openings with individual adults 18+.
