Psychotherapist

Perhaps you are here because you’re struggling right now. Something is happening in your life that is beyond your ability to solve on your own, and you need help. Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. Seeking help is the first step towards making things better, and I’d be honored to help you.

As a therapist, I believe that while you may be facing what may seem like frustrating or overwhelming problems, you have everything you need within you to grow through them and to gain new insight and understanding of yourself in a way that helps you find greater peace and emotional resilience. You are creative, resourceful, and whole, and by virtue of being human, are capable of growth, healing, and change. It is my privilege as a therapist to be your partner on the journey, and to offer a safe, transformative space for you to come in, explore within, and gain fresh insight about yourself that will open up new pathways and possibilities to you.

I believe that the most important element of successful therapy is the relationship you and I create together. To that end, I’m committed to creating and holding a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate and empathetic space for you, in order to help you do the inner work of healing, growth, and change. My role as your therapist is to partner with you, and we are in the room as equals, working together in service of your greater well-being. In our work together, you are the expert in your own life; my role is to bring my toolkit of training, discernment, and wise questions to help you build new habits, navigate difficult emotions, and build a healthier, more satisfying life.

I am passionate about therapy and the power it has to transform people’s lives. I work with folks who are looking for help with relationship issues, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief, as well as people simply facing the existential questions of how to find meaningful and fulfillment in a human life. If you are looking for support on your healing journey toward a more soulful and joyful life, this just might be the place.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me outside somewhere, whether simply sitting in stillness and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, or getting active–I love hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, walking, and gardening. I’m also an artist, and spend many hours in some form of creative practice.
