Psychotherapist

I seek to provide a warm, open presence that enables you to explore who you are with safety and compassion, and move towards understanding what is impacting your life and hindering your growth.  I work collaboratively with my clients to uncover patterns shaped by early experiences, understand how these can be both strengths and obstacles, and create a path forward.

My approach to counseling is trauma-informed, interpersonal and psychodynamic, utilizing an eclectic approach that draws from CBT, DBT, EMDR, and somatic interventions. I recognize that, in my own life, real transformation and change has most often taken place in the company of mentors and caring relationships. I seek to enable clients to work within the here-and-now, utilizing mindfulness-based methods and believes that healing is best facilitated within relationships.

I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington.

At Shelterwood Collective I work with individuals ages 15 and older. I provide counseling in English and Spanish.

También ofrezco terapia y asesoramiento en español para personas mayores de 15 años.
