Psychotherapist

(she/her)

After over a decade of volunteering with women who had experienced trauma and abuse, I made the choice to attend graduate school to meet the growing need for trauma-trained counselors. My passion is and has been to create an environment in which the stigma and silence surrounding abuse can be broken in the lives of those in our community.

I have witnessed the freedom of healing that can come from therapeutic work. It is also important to me that I offer group therapy. Tremendous growth can result when people work in a group setting and are offered care from others with similar experiences. My graduate work focused on expanding my knowledge of trauma and abuse. My hope is to bring into focus one's experience of familial, identity-based, religious, and social harms from a framework of one's attachment styles in current relationships. I work with others to identify healing experiences beyond traditional one-on-one talk therapy by integrating group work with a deeper awareness of one's somatic (body) response to their history of trauma and abuse.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I am a licensed mental health counselor associate in the state of Washington.

I recognize that therapy requires a tremendous investment emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. I do not take this commitment lightly and am honored when I am invited to work with a client.
