Psychotherapist

(she/her)

Welcome. Here’s a little about me to see if we could be a good fit. In the therapeutic space, I bring a reflective and inquisitive posture to explore what gets in your way in relationships and in your sense of confidence and grounding. My goal is to help you understand your varied and nuanced experience with grace, kindness, and deep trust. I work to help people slow down to listen to what isn’t being heard, what needs validation that’s being dismissed, and what needs language that feels scattered or disillusioning.

I work well with individuals who are trying to understand themselves deeper and desiring to find an inner sense of ease. These are often individuals who are experiencing worry, internal distress, perfectionistic tendencies, and overall self criticism and uncertainty.

I obtained my master’s degree in counseling psychology from The Seattle School. I’ve worked primarily in community mental health and eating disorder treatment. Throughout my career, I’ve continued to find myself drawn to working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and exhausted. I’ve found that these individuals are also some of the most profound and hardworking people I’ve met. I have deep faith that all people hold innate inner wisdom that is waiting to be reconnected to. Often pain and trauma create disconnection and distrust of ourselves. Healing through psychotherapy can illuminate and strengthen our resounding inner voice.

When not sharing space with clients, most of my days are shared with my partner and two sweet girls. Additionally, I spend my leisure time reading all genres of books, riding my bike along a beautiful trail, and drawing oracle cards throughout the moon cycle for inspiration and guidance.

The ‘night sea journey’ is the journey into the parts of ourselves that are split off, disavowed, unknown, unwanted, cast out, and exiled to the various subterranean worlds of consciousness…. The goal of this journey is to reunite us with ourselves. Such a homecoming can be surprisingly painful, even brutal. In order to undertake it, we must first agree to exile nothing.
